Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.kreativdistrikt.com (the "Site") and the hackathon, ideathon, incubation and innovation-consulting services (the "Services") provided by Kreativdistrikt SRL, with registered office at Via Petrarca 22, 20123 Milan, Italy ("KDKT", "we", "us"). By accessing the Site, booking a call, or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.

2. Definitions

• "Client" means the company or organization that engages KDKT to design or run a hackathon, ideathon, or innovation program.
• "Participant" means an individual who takes part in a hackathon or program organized by KDKT on behalf of a Client.
• "Submission" means any idea, code, design, prototype, or other work product created by a Participant during an event.

3. Our Services

KDKT designs and delivers corporate hackathons, live and online hackathon events, ideathons, and incubation programs for business clients. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate proposal, quote, or statement of work agreed with the Client; these Terms apply alongside that agreement, and in case of conflict the specific agreement prevails.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Site or take part in a KDKT event as a Participant. By booking a call or registering for an event, you confirm you have the authority to do so, including on behalf of any company you represent.

5. Bookings, Quotes and Payment

Requesting a call or a quote through the Site does not create a binding commitment on either side. A binding engagement exists only once both parties have signed a proposal, statement of work, or service agreement, which will set out fees, payment schedule, and cancellation terms specific to that engagement.

6. Client and Participant Data

We process personal data — including names, work email addresses, and other contact details of Client representatives and event Participants — as needed to deliver our Services, in accordance with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Kreativdistrikt SRL acts as data controller for this processing; you can reach us at info@kreativdistrikt.com for any data protection request, including the rights described in our Privacy Policy (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) and the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described separately in our Cookie Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site and our materials. All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, and the KDKT name and branding — is owned by KDKT or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

Event Submissions. Unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Client for a specific event, Participants retain ownership of the Submissions they create. By taking part in an event, a Participant grants KDKT and the relevant Client a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, demonstrate, and promote the Submission in connection with that event (for example in event recaps, case studies, or marketing materials), with attribution where practical.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site or participate in our events in a way that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, is fraudulent or deceptive, or attempts to disrupt the Site or an event's systems or security.

9. Confidentiality

Where a Client shares confidential business information with KDKT for the purpose of designing or running an event (for example challenge briefs, internal data, or strategic objectives), KDKT will keep that information confidential and use it only for the agreed engagement, except where a separate NDA between the parties sets out different terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and our Services are provided "as is." While we take reasonable care in designing and running our programs, we do not guarantee any specific business outcome, Submission quality, or result from participation, beyond what is expressly agreed in a signed statement of work.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Italian law, KDKT's total liability arising out of or relating to the Site or the Services is limited to the fees actually paid by the Client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. KDKT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death, personal injury, or fraud).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold KDKT harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or an event.

13. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Site for any user who violates these Terms. Termination of a specific Client engagement is governed by the terms of that engagement's own agreement.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site or Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
